Ashley Jackson, MSW

Ashley Jackson’s research interests are in the legal and racial socialization of Black youth with a specific focus on how they learn to interact with the law enforcement and the associated mental health outcomes.  She has conducted mixed-methods criminal justice research focusing on youth experiences during and post-incarceration and youth experiences interacting with the police in New York.
