We encountered a few instances of unforeseen results in creating our model, all of which were related to the behavior of our park guests. Since we were trying to mimic human behavior, we had to update our code in visual logic to fix the following irrational behaviors that our park guests followed in the first iteration of our model. Those issues included:
● Guests leaving too soon or too late
● Guests entering lines as the park was closing
● Guests entering queues with a 4+ hour wait time
● Guests riding the same coasters multiple times in a row when the line length was long
We corrected these issues by adding restraints and rules that better emulated the desired human behavior that we were trying to model in our park.
