Over the past 15 years, the group has addressed fundamental scientific challenges in electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems such as fuel cells, electrolyzers, redox-flow batteries and lithium-ion batteries through the application of electrochemical engineering principles, the use of advanced materials, and the use of in-situ and ex-situ diagnostics to interrogate electrochemical systems.
