About the Speaker

Emily Somerville, OTD, OTR/L

Instructor in Occupational Therapy and Neurology

Emily Somerville’s main focus is promoting the participation of older adults with functional limitations at home and in the community through the provision of tailored home modification interventions. These interventions are designed to enhance the performance of daily home activities and foster participation in the community. She also has a specific interest in helping older adults manage medications independently at home, and is studying the feasibility and acceptability of a medication management intervention for older adults.
