The Center for Community Health Partnership & Research presents a Collaborative Café around building lasting community-academic partnerships. Speakers will discuss sustainability of community-academic partnerships and strategies for ensuring long-term collaboration.
Attendees will:
- Understand the fundamental aspects of successful long-term community-academic partnerships
- Discuss barriers to successful partnership
- Hear about the successes and lessons learned from real regional partnerships
- Learn tips to plan for sustainability during the early stages of partnership
The Collaborative for Community-Centered Conversations — “Collaborative Café” — is hosted by the Center for Community Health Partnership & Research at the Institute for Public Health and Institute of Clinical & Translational Sciences. Collaborative Café offers opportunities for researchers and community partners to network, share experiences, and learn from each other.
This interactive, discussion-based event is free to attend and open to all faculty, students, researchers, community members, and organizations dedicated to advancing equity.
This event will take place in person in the Richmond room, located on the second floor of the Taylor Avenue Building on the Washington University Medical Campus. To promote safety and social distancing, space is limited and advance registration is required.
