All DBBS students are required to assist in the teaching of one or two courses depending upon the workload of the course(s).   Teaching is usually completed during the second year with mentored teaching assignments to a particular course made with the student’s background and interests in mind.

Students considering careers in education or as faculty at primary undergraduate institutions and/or universities are encouraged to explore the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL)’s  Professional Development in Teaching Program.  The program helps participants to build on teaching experiences by increasing expertise in evidence-based, active-learning pedagogies.
