Senior Scientist

Dr. Rawat was born in the Himalayan town of Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, India. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Lucknow in India. Dr. Rawat then obtained her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the Central Drug Research Institute and AcSIR in 2019.

Following her Ph.D., Dr. Rawat pursued postdoctoral training in cancer immunology, specializing in B cell biology and myeloid biology, at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. Subsequently, she worked as a Research Scientist at Dartmouth College, focusing on the role of interstitial macrophages and tertiary lymphoid organs in lung cancer.

In September 2023, Dr. Rawat joined the Pachynski lab, where she currently investigates immune cell infiltration in the tumor microenvironment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer to develop novel immunotherapies.

Outside of work, Dr. Rawat enjoys running outdoors, dancing, and gardening.
