Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Kuehm completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Texas and her Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at UNT Health Science Center. She then worked as a Quality Control Microbiologist for 3 years at Neos Therapeutics in Texas and Bristol-Myers Squibb in Indiana.

She received her Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology in 2020 from Saint Louis University. Her work focused on how diet and obesity influenced T cell response to checkpoint blockade immunotherapy. After graduating, she became a Research Scientist for TCR Cure in North Carolina where she was on the CAR-T cell immune enabling team responsible for increasing the efficacy of CAR-T cells against solid tumors. She was also a Field Application Scientist for Cell Microsystems in North Carolina before she returned to St. Louis.

As a postdoctoral scholar with a T32 in the Musculoskeletal Research Center, her current work focuses on the role of chemerin in the prostate cancer bone microenvironment and immune cell involvement.

Aside from her passion for immunotherapy, Dr. Kuehm loves animals, craft beer, and hiking.
