It’s a family affair!
Hiking in the Colorado mountains

I have worked at WashU Medicine in the Office of Health Information and Data Science for over 7 years. I started off as a project assistant and have gradually moved into a financial operations manager role, where I manage the medical library’s finances and lead a team of accountants and financial analysts. I love working at WashU because I am constantly exposed to new ideas in medical research and see first-hand the positive impact our institution has on patient outcomes and the St. Louis community. I also joined a multi-generational WashU family: my partner works at WashU, his parents work at WashU, and two of his sisters work at WashU! We participate in “10k-A-Day” challenges together through WashU’s HR wellness programs and have won first place multiple times.

Outside of WashU, you may find me at the Missouri Botanical Gardens on the weekends, just enjoying my favorite gardens, like the Japanese Garden and Stumpery, or attending one of the numerous events and festivals hosted there. I also am a long-distance runner. I will run my fifth half marathon this fall and plan to register for the full St. Louis Marathon in the spring!

I also enjoy hiking in the Colorado mountains, specifically White River National Park and the Arapahoe & Roosevelt National Forests. I have summited two 14ers (Quandary Peak and Torreys Peak) so far and absolutely love the challenge!
