MBA Women in Soccer!
Madeline Allburn
I’m Madeline Allburn and I am from Williamsburg, VA. I received an undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University where I was a four-year member of their collegiate soccer team. I studied Political Science at Wake Forest and I plan to study finance and consulting during my time in the MBA program.
I play as a forward for the WashU women’s soccer team.
When I’m not focusing on school and soccer, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching movies, and playing with my dogs, Linus and Lucy.
Ally Hackett
My name is Ally Hackett and I am a first year MBA student on the WashU women’s soccer team. I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and completed my undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in two years. Here at WashU I love to explore Forest Park, spend time with my teammates, and find new study spots around campus. I have a passion for traveling, hiking, and advocating for student-athlete mental health.
Fun Facts:
- My dream vacation is going to the Amalfi Coast and jumping off of a boat into the ocean.
- I am a sucker for a beautiful sunset.
- I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old.
Samantha McKibben
My name is Samantha, but everyone calls me Sam! I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I did my undergrad at DePaul University where I played on their women’s soccer team. During my senior semester, I went study abroad on Semester at Sea where I lived on a cruise ship! This past summer I did an internship for a festival and event company in Chicago. I am pursuing my MBA with a concentration in marketing.
Fun Facts:
- I have been to over 50 countries!
- I have a pet dog named Stella.
- My whole family’s names start with the letter S: Scott (dad), Sandra (mom), Sean (brother), Sam (me), and Stella (dog)
- I am Puerto Rican and spend Christmas in Puerto Rico every year!
- When I was 17, I went skydiving in Australia with my 71-year old grandma
