Christina Jiménz
I’m Cristy, a Senior Product Manager – Technical at Mastercard. My journey in the tech world started with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. In 2018 I moved to Saint Louis and began my Mastercard adventure as an intern in the cybersecurity domain, working as a software developer. My interests quickly shifted towards User Experience and Customer Experience, which led me to a second internship within the Global Customer Care team in 2019. In my current role, I lead impactful initiatives within the Technology Solutions Consulting team, specializing in devising cutting-edge solutions for global products that cater to diverse programs across the organization. My commitment to technological innovation and problem-solving is at the heart of what I do.
Beyond the corporate world, I’m a dedicated advocate for fostering interest in STEM fields among young girls. I actively volunteer at organizations like Girls4tech, a program innovated by Mastercard to empower the next generation of female tech leaders. I also extend this dedication through active participation in Girls Inc., where I offer mentorship and guidance to young girls.
As the co-lead for Mastercard’s Latin Business Resource Group (BRG), I promote diversity and inclusion within the workspace. Leveraging my experiences and insights, I actively drive initiatives that create an inclusive environment, fostering collaboration and understanding among my colleagues.
In my spare time, I wear many hats. I studied culinary arts in Florence, where I fell in love with cooking. I’m equally passionate about event planning and orchestrating memorable experiences with meticulous attention to detail. Music is my escape. I love strumming my guitar and losing myself in song. It’s my way of expressing emotions beyond words. And then there are my two furry companions, Archie and Charlie, who I consider my children. They bring boundless joy to my life with their loyalty and playfulness.
