Prof. Solberg (kneeling in tan jacket) is a member of the Bretton Woods Committee of the International Monetary Fund and follows central bank policy closely. Here he is leading students in a tour of the New York Fed museum and the student will go down special elevators on a good vault tour.

Prof. Solberg joined Nate Quest in hosting the forty nine GMF students at a Friday night production of the musical “Hamilton” to wrap up New York Wall Street week of immersion classes.
Prof. Tim Solberg is an avid history fan. He led the GMF students up Wall Street from the New York Fed Bank to the Trinity Church cemetery and gave a talk on America’s first Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton. We stood by his tomb with that of his wife Eliza, who outlived him by decades after his famous duel with Aaron Burr. His 18 year old son, who died in a duel, is buried beside them.
Tim became a great uncle once again this summer.
