Zhiwen Zhou
I took my undergraduate at Baylor University in Texas, therefore, when I first arrived in St. Louis, I could not get used to the weather here. However, after I attended several activities hosted by Olin, I met more people and made more friends who accompanied me in the following year.
Since I was a good chef, I have always cooked Chinese food for my new friends, which has saved us a lot of money. We also hung out together and traveled to a lot of places in the US with them.
I went to California with my friends during the fall break. It was a very happy thing that I went to visit the Golden Arch Bridge in San Francisco. Also, a very interesting thing happened when I went skiing last winter holiday. We couldn’t close the trunk of our rental car after spending a day at the house because the roads were closed due to heavy snow. We drove to the gas station and met a very kind man who helped us fix the car for free.
We went to visit Yosemite National Park. The environment there is really comfortable and allows me to get close to the scenery of nature. I am also very grateful to olin for giving me the opportunity to touch these beautiful landscapes.
