Greg Marifian, MBA 2024

MC WashU Taylor Family Center Students

Meet Greg, a native of the St. Louis area with a passion for driving innovation in payment systems! Greg kickstarted his career journey at Mastercard in 2017, where he’s taken on diverse roles spanning technology and business analysis on Mastercard’s core technology teams. He then pivoted into product management focusing on Mastercard’s prepaid card space. Currently, Greg serves as a segment lead in Mastercard’s Public Sector organization, where he’s dedicated to streamlining government disbursement payments. His goal? Ensuring that funds reach those who need them most – the residents of various countries.

But Greg’s interests don’t stop there. As a former co-chair of Mastercard’s Young Professionals BRG, he led initiatives across 30+ global chapters, building solid connections within the company. He’s also made waves as a product innovation ambassador, where he was privileged to showcase cutting-edge payment experiences at industry events and to diverse audiences.

When he’s not shaping the future of payments, Greg can be found hustling on the platform tennis and pickleball courts or planning exciting adventures with friends and family. He’s become actively involved with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Young Professionals organization, where he leans toward networking and professional growth opportunities. As Greg nears the completion of his PMBA at Wash U, he’s eager to explore new extracurricular endeavors while staying connected to Wash U through work-related and MBA outreach events.
