Xiaohan Lu, SMP Student Ambassador
Greetings, dear members of our WashU community! I am Xiaohan Lu, a Master of Business Analytics – Financial Technology Analytics student and the co-director of the SMP Student Ambassadors.
I am honored to contribute to our vibrant community and love working with the admission team and our student ambassadors. Together, we’ve accomplished significant milestones, from holding coffee chats to address prospective students’ queries to facilitating visits for our esteemed EMBAs and even spearheading the creation of our New Year Celebration video. I want to thank all the students and faculty members who have supported me. I offer special appreciation to Brittney Scott and Claire Sheehan, whose guidance and support have been instrumental!
I studied Business Administration and Statistics at UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate student. I love communicating with others and derive fulfillment from assisting them along their paths.
In my personal life, I enjoy climbing, and my favorite place to go in Saint Louis is climbing so Ill! Another fun fact about me is that I write poems and prose in my spare time. Saint Louis holds a special place in my heart for its vibrant community and the wonderful people I’ve met here. We’ve shared memorable experiences, from studying to embarking on adventures like the Sky Lantern and Balloon festivals. Let us inspire and support one another as we navigate the exciting opportunities and adventures ahead!
