Elements: A Collaborative Exhibition in which area St. Louis artists have been invited to collaborate with our Third Degree glass artists to pull their mediums together for outstanding mixed media works. This exhibition focuses on the refractions, reflections and overall beauty that glass can bring to any medium including textiles, wood, metal, paper, ceramics, and more.
Artist Reception is in conjunction with Third Friday, March 15 from 6-10 pm. Visit the gallery Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am- 5pm, March 15 – April 26.

The 2024 African Film Festival at Washington University will celebrate its 18th year March 22-24, 2024 – offering the latest and best of African Cinema to the Saint Louis region. We are excited to reconnect with you in person.
Each year, the Department in African & African American Studies, Film & Media Studies and the African Students Association partner to present the African Film Festival to the Washington University and larger Saint Louis communities. The festival showcases films, less than two years old, that have fared well at international festivals.

The Great American Eclipse of 2024 – March 23rd at 2-3pm
Gateway Arch National Park – FREE
Missouri Eclipse Task Force Leader Don Ficken will discuss the April 8th eclipse, the last total event visible from any part of the United States until 2044. Children 4-13 can pick up & fill out Junior Ranger Eclipse Explorer booklets and earn a special badge before or after this program. Free eclipse glasses will be available.
Solar Eclipse Viewing Party – April 8th from 12-3pm

Enjoy FREE Eclipse Viewing Eye Protection, activities for all ages, shopping opportunities with local vendors, music, and more.
Old Herald Brewery & Distillery will be brewing a special Solar Shandy just for this occasion. They are also collaborating with Big Muddy Brewery to create a Dark Noon Whiskey. That’s two unique drinks to honor the eclipse! The brewery will also offer commemorative pint glasses free with purchase of the Solar Shandy or Dark Noon Whiskey.
