Tova (MBA ’22) is a WashU alumna and has a BA in Spanish from Allegheny College. Pre-MBA, Tova worked in the hospitality industry on the east coast: high-end catering where she ran event operations, then was recruited by Marriott International where she helped with brand integration during the Starwood merger for multiple properties. She moved back home to Saint Louis to develop her business skills with the hopes of career transitioning into Marketing. However, she found her love for entrepreneurship when she began her entrepreneurship journey by starting a baking business, Sweet L’Oven Bakes, in 2020, and she has not looked back. Now as a Co-Founder of VertiGreens, she supports other aspiring entrepreneurs to follow their passion. Tova enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
Dave is a double graduate from WashU (MBA ’22, BSBA ’12) with a passion for solving problems. After earning his undergraduate degree, he spent 8 years living in Israel and the Philippines working in tech startups launching new products/markets, and then transitioning to a private investment group in Asia as a problem solver. He returned to WashU for his MBA to dive deeper into entrepreneurship and start his own company. Today, he is fully immersed in the Saint Louis Entrepreneurship ecosystem, helping startups with his wealth of experience while building VertiGreens. In his spare time, Dave enjoys cooking, soccer, and traveling the world.
