Beth Sims
I am very excited to be a part of Olin’s GPO Office as Assistant Dean of Academic Advising Strategy. I have been in some capacity of higher education for all of my professional career. I started my Division I College Soccer Coach career at my Alma Mater, Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO). In this role, I realized that helping students academically was my true passion. I have previously held positions as an admissions representative, academic advisor, senior academic advisor, and Assistant Director of Graduate Advising.
My husband, Shaun, and I have three children, Keegan (7), Colton (4), and Dorothy (2). They keep us very busy, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Besides watching them in their sports and activities, we do enjoy watching/attending STL City soccer games, Cardinals baseball games, Mizzou football games, and Mizzou basketball games. We try to spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether taking a walk, playing on the swing set, visiting a pool in the summer, or sledding in the winter.
