I love to travel.  I enjoyed meeting Joe Biden when I was COO of the St. Louis Regional Chamber.   We have something in common:  Syracuse University, I have a BS he has a Law Degree

I loved how she handled challenging course content and conversation, navigating the learning lessons, and keeping the course on track. She did an amazing job of getting students to dissect their loved experiences and encouraged empathy among students in the class. The tours are a great way to get students out of their element and learn about the history of St Louis firsthand, I just wish there was the ability/requirement for students to attend all the tours scheduled for a complete and robust experience of all the city has to offer.” Nashad Carrington, MBA 2024

“One of the key takeaways for me was the recognition that diversity extends far beyond visible differences. The course emphasized the importance of acknowledging and appreciating the myriad of identities, experiences, and voices that contribute to the fabric of our society. It challenged preconceived notions and encouraged critical thinking, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding equity and inclusion.” Cherise Brookes, MBA 2024

I found her class that focused on DEI very informative since we talked about a lot of difficult topics. What I found most interesting was how to talk about these subjects with friends and family, how to be a better ally, and how to refute some common arguments against DEI that inevitably appear. I am confident I will build on this throughout my hopefully long career and life. Outside of the course, I have found her to be a great resource to better navigate these conversations and to better understand myself.”  Samuel Berger, MBA 2024
