Andrew Carroll, MD, US Air Force
I am (James) Andrew Carroll. I attended Rockhurst University and graduated with a degree in Biology in 2010. I completed medical training at Creighton University in 2015 under a Health Profession Scholarship with the United States Air Force. From there, I completed my pediatric residency training at St. Louis University in 2018. From 2018 to 2022 I served as an active duty pediatric physician at Holloman Air Force Base in southern New Mexico. After my Air Force career, I started pediatric sub-specialty training in the care of premature infants at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in addition to getting my MBA at Olin. I intend to use my MBA to be a bridge between clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare.
Al Schulz, US Army
I joined the Army as a 20-year-old, as an infantryman, upon completion of basic training I attended Airbourne school. I deployed twice in my time in the Army to both Afghanistan and Kuwait. Once I got out of Army in 2020, I decided to attend Saint Louis University to study Aeronautics. I graduated from SLU in May 2023 and decided to attend Olin for my MBA, as I wanted to improve my business acumen.
Dan Sullivan, US Marines
In Marine aviation, we do not have cool callsigns like “Maverick” and “Iceman.” Mine is “Soggy.”
I, Soggy, am a St. Louis native, a husband, and a father of two wonderful kids. I am honored to have the opportunity to attend Olin following my career flying helicopters. After a career traveling the world and working with people from all over the country, I look forward to continuing that trend here. Olin’s values of “Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Diversity, Excellence, and Leadership” prove Olin’s dedication to fostering values established through my service. This is the perfect jumping-off point for my career pivot into impactful work in the St. Louis community. I am grateful for Olin’s support of veterans, and their willingness to accept a guy with a goofy nickname. I look forward to meeting more of the Olin community and sharing more about me and my name.
Emmalene Sunaz, US Navy
My name is Emmalene Sunaz, I was an Air Traffic Controller in the Navy. After separating from the military, I continued to work for the federal government in Air Traffic, Airfield Management, and currently as an Aeronautical Analyst. I love to travel, I have been to 22 different countries and 5 different continents (still working on the other 2), 40 US states (mostly road trips), and lived in 7 different states & 3 different countries. I used to own my own cake/pastry business many moons ago and I bake when I am stressed so prepare for a deluge of sweet treats for the next 2 years.
Jessica Tabb, US Army
I’m a first-year MBA student interested in financial leadership post-MBA. I graduated from West Point in 2014, majoring in Economics, and had a 7-year career as an intelligence officer in the US Army after undergrad. I separated from the Army in 2021 and worked in Clayton, Mo for Chase Bank for two years before attending the WashU Full-Time MBA program. Outside of school, I spend most of my time training for marathons and cheering my son on at his soccer games. My son and I have quickly adopted the St Louis culture and love to attend the City SC games and St Louis Blues games in addition to the many museums and public events in Forest Park.
