Olin takes first place in the Quinnipiac Game Forum! The team of five students (Rohan Subramanian, Teja Sunkari, Wenlong Fan, Luokang Yao, and Zhaojun Wang), in the MSF program, presented the praxis portfolio from Prof. Cuny’s class in the competition! This is approximately $2 million of the WashU Endowment which is managed live by the MSF/MBA Finance students in class. The lower-risk portfolio applied conscience-based investing as determined by the students, who vote on rebalancing each year at the end of the spring term. The student praxis portfolio outperformed the S&P 500 by 6%+ in a down market. Using the custodian statements from BNY Mellon and loading the holdings into the Bloomberg terminal for analysis, we submitted the required documents to the QGame competition. We created the performance attribution analysis presentation the team made in New York before a panel of judges.
