Meet the 2022 Board

Monica Vela, Co-President

2023 MBA Candidate | Consortium Fellow

Monica is a first-year MBA candidate concentrating in Financial Management as a Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellow. Monica is proud to pursue her MBA as she enters the finance industry because of WashU Olin’s value-based and data-driven leadership training. She will be moving to Chicago, IL to be in Discover Financial Services’ 2023 General Business MBA Leadership Rotational Program.

Nadia Suhail, Co-President

2023 MBA Candidate | Forte Fellow

Nadia is a second-year MBA candidate concentrating on Marketing. She is passionate about helping women find their version of success and is excited to bring back OWIB’s annual auction since its COVID hiatus. She will be moving to Philadelphia, PA to join AstraZeneca’s MBA Commercial Leadership Development Program. 

Darinee Suttajit, Board Member

2023 MBA Candidate | Consortium Fellow

Darinee Suttajit is a second-year MBA student and a Consortium Fellow. She serves as a Board Member for Olin Women in Business. Darinee launch our mentorship program this year to help first-year MBAs have support throughout their recruiting process.

Dawsyn Young, Board Member

2023 MBA Candidate | SHRM -CP | Forte Fellow

Dawsyn is a 2nd year MBA candidate and a board member of OWIB. She is passionate about creating opportunities for those who identify as women at all intersections. Dawsyn is currently looking for employment post-graduation in the HR space.

Allison Wise, VP of Social Events

2023 MBA Candidate | Consortium Fellow

Allison Wise is a second-year MBA and is the current VP of Social Events for OWIB. Allison is also the co-liaison for Consortium, a CEL Scholar, and an Olin Ambassador.  Allison is headed to Starbucks Corporation in Seattle, Washington after graduation as a brand manager.

Rick Desloge, Board Member

2023 MBA Candidate | Allyship Chair

Rick Desloge serves as an officer for Olin Women in Business, where he is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity by advocating for allyship and bringing this perspective to the club’s decision-making process. Before joining Olin, Rick had a successful career as a performer on Broadway. Upon completion of his MBA, he intends to join Cognizant’s Communications, Media, and Technology practice. There, he hopes to leverage his skills and experience to help clients navigate complex business challenges.

Amanda Honigfort, VP of Professional Development Events

2023 MBA Candidate | Forte Fellow

Amanda Honigfort is a second-year MBA candidate focused on marketing and entrepreneurship. Her previous experience was as a producer, writer, and journalist at national, local, and state-wide programs in radio, print, and television. She will be joining Edward Jones’ Associate Leadership Program upon graduation.

Elle Berger, VP of Alumni Relations

2023 MBA Candidate | Chancellor Scholar | Forte Fellow

As a Master of Engineering in Energy, Environmental, & Chemical Engineering/MBA graduate student, and Vice President of Alumni Relations for OWIB, Elizabeth “Elle” Berger strives to do her best and earn the respect of her professors and peers. She is proud to be a part of the world-class Olin network of professionals who work tirelessly to make a positive impact on the world. Upon her May 2023 graduation, she will be working for ExxonMobil as a Commercial Advisor.

Manaswini Bobbu, Co-President

2024 MBA Candidate

I am Manaswini, a first-year FT MBA student at Olin. I am from India and before coming to Olin, I worked for two major consulting firms in their Tax & Advisory division while heading some large-scale internal strategy projects. I have been blessed to have some amazing women help me get through some of my toughest times at Olin. I hence am super passionate about perpetuating this culture of support, empowerment, and solidarity through OWIB. I cannot wait to bring to the community all the amazing events we have planned that would help boost the overall well-being and career advancement of the community!

Olamide Mabel Omotosho, Co-President

2024 MBA Candidate | Forte Fellow I am Olamide, a first-year MBA student from Nigeria. Before business school, I was the head of brand management and business development at an advertising agency. I also founded HealthBetter,  a health and wellness company focused on improving physical and mental health in the workplace. My undergraduate degree is in medical rehabilitation with a focus on occupational therapy. I also practiced as an occupational therapist in both the private and public hospital systems in Nigeria, where my experience with patients inspired my decision to start HealthBetter. I am excited to work with my fellow femmes to empower and encourage professional growth as we build an inclusive community together
