Enola Proctor, PhD

Dr. Proctor is the Shanti K. Khinduka Distinguished Professor at the Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis. She has three decades of experience in research and research training in the areas of health services and implementation science. She currently is PI of an NIMH funded R25 grant, now in its seventh year, providing national training to early and mid-career implementation researchers. Its 23 current fellows are drawn from a wide range of disciplines in universities across the United States. Dr. Proctor is Implementation Science Director for the Washington University Institute for Clinical and Translational Sciences, a CTSA program, and she directs the Center for Dissemination and Implementation at the University’s Institute for Public Health. Her scholarly work has helped advance the field of implementation science; her empirical research addresses the effectiveness of implementation strategies.
