Arriving by Air:
Lambert – St. Louis International Airport is the closest airport to the Medical Center and is served by multiple domestic airlines.
BEST OPTION: From the airport, you can reach The Parkway Hotel or the Medical School by taxi, rental car, or by taking the MetroLink light-rail transit system. If you use the MetroLink system, board the Red Line and exit at the Central West End station. Ascend the stairs or use the elevator.
The Eric P. Newman Center will be to your right from the top west side of the Metrolink platform (less than a block to the front doors). The Parkway Hotel is approx. 1 block farther (to the North) on to your right.
Arriving by Train:
Amtrak has regular service to St. Louis where passengers can transfer to the local MetroLink (red or blue line) light-rail transit system to get to the University. Exit at the Central West End location. Ascend stairs or use elevator. The Eric P. Newman Center will be to your right from the top west side of the Metrolink platform. The Parkway Hotel is approx. 1 block farther (to the North) on to your right.
Driving:
The Medical School at Washington University in St. Louis is conveniently located off of I-64/40 at the Kingshighway exit.
Parking: Please utilize the Metro Parking Garage (4590 Children’s Place). Parking at the Metro Garage is $1.00 per hour with an $8.00 per day maximum. The North Garage is also available for parking at the rate of $1.50 per hour with a $15.00 per day maximum.
For guests of The Parkway Hotel, convenient parking is available for $5 per day per car. This rate includes twenty-four (24) hour in and out privileges.
