The 2013 Washington University Danforth Campus Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Committee, invites all to attend the
26th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration with the theme “HOPE in Action …”
The celebration will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013, 7 p.m. at the Graham Chapel, Washington University Danforth Campus.
Speakers include:
Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton
Vice-Provost Adrienne Davis
The Rosa L. Parks Award Presentation: Mr. Melvin White and Beloved Streets of America
Student Leaders: Julian Nicks and Ashley Fox
Student Speaker: Michelle Hall
Special presentations by the Visions Gospel Choir, Orchestrating Diversity, the urban youth orchestra, and other students pre-program entertainment.
A reception in the Danforth University Center will be held following the program.
