Who we are
We are a group of individuals from various departments across the School of Medicine and the Danforth Campus at Washington University in St. Louis, as well as from a few institutions outside the University, who are working together to integrate Mindfulness into the culture of research, teaching, clinical practice, and community outreach.

Our Aim
Our aim is to create and facilitate connections, opportunities, and collaborations among individuals from Washington University in St. Louis and the wider community, in the areas of mindfulness research, clinical practice, teaching, and community outreach. A key long-term goal of our group is to create a Mindfulness Center that will centralize and maximize the availability of mindfulness-related resources across the two campuses of Washington University, St. Louis, promoting well-being within our communities.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be of service and benefit to the St. Louis community and surrounding region through Mindfulness. We hope to accomplish this by raising awareness and visibility around the topic of mindfulness, and by promoting and engaging in evidence-based mindfulness research, practice, teaching and service, that is rooted in the principles of equity, compassion, and cultural humility.
