If it is greenish, then it is not a meteorite

The photos below were sent to me by persons who thought the objects might be meteorites.


The only exceptions that I know

Northwest Africa 7325, a unique achondrite, has a greenish fusion crust.

The diogenite Tatahouine (rich in olivine) is greenish: photo 1 | photo 2


In some well prepared pallasites, the olivine is greenish.  In others, it is more brownish.

This photo of Almahata Sitta has distinctly green olivine crystals.


Moldavites, which are tektites, not meteorites, can also be green.
