Students at Washington University School of Medicine have produced and performed fully staged, choreographed, and orchestrated Broadway musicals for over 15 years. The show is student-produced, with students directing, performing onstage, conducting and playing in the pit orchestra, building sets, sewing costumes, and running lights and sound. For this next production, we are proud to bring you Grease this April 20-22, 2023 at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Auditorium.

The musical is a perfect place to expand your horizons and try something new. Being a part of the musical is an amazing experience unlike anything else in your education and career at WashU.

  • The production is usually announced in August. Students sign-up to be involved and indicate their different interest.
  • Auditions/Callbacks are usually held in September.
  • Cast, Set/Costume Crew, and Pit Orchestra members meet weekly until tech-show week!

The experience is truly rewarding as the effort everyone puts into the show brings to life successful, enjoyable, and excellent amateur productions!
