According to Harvard Business Review, shared experience can bolster the trust needed for teams to realize success. By working together and focusing on the skills and knowledge each person brings to the experience, strong teams are forged.
In December 2019 BME ventured outside the McKelvey Engineering space and decided to spend several hours coming together to cook a meal at the Kitchen Conservatory in Clayton. This was an attempt to bring the group together outside of the day-to-day work to get to know each other, build trust and just have fun!
Everyone loved it. We had to work together to cook a full meal with dessert. Worked even better than I thought it would. I highly recommend it! – Glen Reitz
