ArchCity Defenders is seeking to collaborate with a designer to create a visual representation for the change in municipal court revenue, tickets, and warrants over the past 4 years. We’ve collected data for about 15 municipalities. As many of you know, area municipalities were employing unlawful and predatory practices to make millions of dollars by extorting poor people and people of color through their policing, courts, and jails. These images would be used in ACD’s updated municipal court paper, and in general, on digital and print materials.
