Builders and Makers to work with Middle School Girls

LitShop is a new nonprofit that provides after school and summer programming for girls ages 10-14 and pairs engaging literacy opportunities with hands-on building and making in a female-centric environment. We help girls write the stories they want to tell and build the world they want to see. We are seeking find female-identifying builders/makers/architects/designers who want to work with our girls in school- and community-based programs. Full case for support available on request.

We compensate the builders and makers who work in our programs $30/hour, including planning time, as 1099 contractors. Opportunities are usually after school 1-2 days per week for two hours per session over eight sessions. We will have additional opportunities next summer as we seek staff for camps.
