Mission Statement: To recognize excellence and service among Washington University leaders, believing that providing such recognition both rewards past service and encourages future action.

The Luminescence Chapter of the National Residential Hall Honorary at Washington University serves to cultivate leadership and service to residential life within the Washington University community. It boasts a long history from its previous incarnation as the Luminescence, otherwise known as WUSTL NRHH. After falling into a short period of inactivity, the Luminescence Chapter was re-established over the spring semester of 2008. The chapter sought reaffiliation with MACURH in 2015 after deaffiliating in 2009. The chapter is in the continuous process of reinventing its public image and identity as it grows. As of 2016, it has recently added a new initiative, leadership consulting, to align with its values of service and supporting leadership within the community.
