Bioscience graduate students and postdocs: Join the new L-MAP program to build your leadership, management, and inclusive teamwork toolkit!

Applications for the Spring 2024 cohort are now open until end of day Feb. 21, 2024.

This 6-week long program meets in person each week to provide active-learning training in these important skills. Full-group sessions are led by an expert in leadership and organizational dynamics. Participants are provided with a workbook that includes all program materials and guides trainees through self-reflective exercises in addition to the in-person content. The units covered are: professionalism and professional identity, leading without authority, negotiation, working in teams, inclusive organizational structure, and writing your leadership statement. Selected participants must commit to attending all training sessions.

This cohort is open to trainees from WashU; space is limited.

Workshop Schedule:

This LMAP cohort will run March 13-April 17, 2024. Participants will meet every Wednesday from 9-11am on the Medical Campus in Farrell Learning & Teaching Center (FLTC), room 303.
