Callie Walsh-Bailey, MPH

Doctoral Student, Public Health, Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis

Callie is a Public Health Sciences doctoral student at Washington University in St. Louis. Callie earned an MPH in international health from Oregon State University and a BA in biology and Spanish from Willamette University. Prior to coming to Washington University, Callie was a research specialist at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute where her work focused on primary care quality improvement and implementation science in mental health. Her interest in global health stems from ethnobotanical research and healthcare volunteer experiences while living in Ecuador. Her current research focuses on the intersection of implementation science, health equity, and chronic disease prevention. Callie is interested in implementing evidence-based practices in resource-limited settings and building community-clinical linkages to address basic resource needs and improve healthcare quality.
