Anna Constantino-Pettit, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Anna Constantino-Pettit (she/her) is a social work researcher whose work is dedicated to disrupting intergenerational cycles of trauma and psychopathology. Anna is principally focused on alleviating aspects of perinatal mental health – specifically, mood dysregulation, suicidality, and drug use – that are significantly affected by social determinants of health, and that impact both caregiver and early infant health and wellbeing. Anna is a clinical social worker with nearly ten years of experience utilizing evidence-based interventions to address pervasive emotion dysregulation, suicidality, and drug use. She plans to leverage her clinical expertise to develop and implement innovative methods in dissemination and implementation science that increase behavioral health equity for perinatal individuals and their children. Ultimately, Anna is interested in translating her research findings into preventive interventions, clinical recommendations, and policy recommendations that can collectively decrease disparities in perinatal and infant mental health care.
