You may have noticed some new features in the Eisendrath Native Garden, just east of the greenhouse! The greenhouse team set out to label plants in the garden, including natives like milkweed, pawpaw, and prickly pear; plus non-native but extraordinary plants like hardy orange, Amorphophallus, and Japanese maple trees. Scanning the QR code leads you to a greenhouse website that lists details like its native range, growing conditions, common names (including in other languages!), and links to more information.
You can see the current list of identified garden plants here, each marked with an asterisk (*) is a native species. You can click each name to learn more about the plant!
