There are various areas that have digital equipment at the school/university depending on your needs. These include screens, cameras, tripods, lights, projects and various other tools.
The Creative Technology Center Mini (CTC Mini) is a technology equipment resource for the Sam Fox School community to check out equipment. Items include video cameras, tripods, lights, projectors, and other miscellaneous items for video capture. Availability and items list can be seen at this link.

You may check out equipment for increments 7 days only. To renew you must return to the Whitaker Lab and have a TA check out the equipment again. All must have a valid University ID to present upon check out/in. Any damage or loss of the equipment is the client responsibility and may incur a costs upon return. Equipment is checked out in working condition. Additional batteries and or charging are the responsibility of client during the check out period. Some re-charging may be required upon checkout with certain items. All iPad/iPods will be reset to factory settings as needed upon return. Faculty and staff may also check out this equipment. All equipment checked out by students, faculty, and staff need to individually pick up and drop off the equipment.
IT (Whitaker Lab) Monitors on Movable Carts
Equipment available from IT are up to five presentation monitors on movable carts that may be checked out by opening a Help Desk ticket and listing the date and time needed. All equipment checked out by students, faculty, and staff need to individually pick up and dropped off at the Whitaker Lab during lab hours. IT does not provide locks to secure the carts in open spaces. Please make sure carts are secured or in a locked room when using over multiple days. The screen resolutions for these systems are 1080 X 720 pixels.
Art & Architecture Library
The Art and Architecture library has two Canon VIXIA HF R42 HD 32x Optical Zoom Camcorder Model ID0019. These are available for checkout at the front desk. To check availability in advance, they can be searched in the catalog (Title = video camera).
The Olin Library also has a service for checking out laptops, cameras and other technology equipment. Please check at the front desk for this service but you can also see the list online. Various other locations have printing and computers available for use here.
Harvey Media Center
The Angel and Paul Harvey Media Center is a state-of-the-art media facility established to educate and empower the Washington University community to tell their stories through media. Center includes a A/V Post Production Studio and various other resources you can book through their site.
In addition there are other labs and equipment across the university. Arts & Sciences Creative Lab and the Arts & Sciences Computing Lab have a number of workstations and scanners as well as production equipment. Many of the residential halls at the South 40 also have computers and software.
