Research Team

Alison Antes, PhD

Alison Antes, PhD, is a Co-Principal Investigator of this project. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of the Bioethics Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine. She is co-director of Professionalism and Integrity in Research Program (PI Program) and the Responsible Conduct of Research Course (RCR) course for WashU ICTS Scholars. She is particularly interested in research ethics, the decision making of researchers, and the leadership practices of PI’s.

Tristan McIntosh, PhD

Tristan McIntosh, PhD, is a Co-Principal Investigator of this project. She is an instructor in Medicine in the Bioethics Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine. She also instructs the DBBS Ethics & Research Science course. Her research interests include: ethical issues in research, and effective lab leadership and management; ethical issues that emerge with the development and implementation of neurological technologies; and the development and assessment of ethics education programs. 

James DuBois, DSC, PhD

James Dubois, DSC, PhD, is a Co-Investigator of this project. He is the Director of the Bioethics Research Center. He directs the Professionalism and Integrity in Research Program (PI program). He is currently PI of NIH-funded research on ethical issues related to data sharing, organ transplantation and genetic testing, and evidence-based informed consent practices.

Erin Solomon, PhD

Erin Solomon, PhD is a Co-Investigator of this project. She is a Staff Scientist in the Bioethics Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine. She works on projects focused on ethical leadership, inclusivity, and encouraging researchers to use evidence-based informed consent practices.

Sophia Pan, PhD

Sophia Pan, PhD, is a Co-Investigator of this project. She is an assistant research fellow at National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. Her research focus on instructional methods and strategies for ethics education as well as publication ethics (e.g., the ethics of authorship).

Nikia Crollard, BSW, BA

Nikia Crollard, BSW, BA, is research assistant for this project. She is a Masters in
Social Work and Masters in Public Health candidate at Washington University in St. Louis. Her interests include international social development, capacity building and participatory development.

Shih-Ying Cheng, MSW

Shih-Ying Cheng, MSW, is research assistant for this project. She is a doctoral candidate in the School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interests include services and policies that address intimate partner violence, health and social service utilization among recent immigrants and the implementation of evidence-based practice.
