Conference on Global Adolescent Health and Economic Strengthening in Low-Resource Settings

June 23-24, 2020

In its fifth year, the purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and community members to share knowledge and expertise, and strengthen partnerships across sub-Saharan Africa, especially on issues related to child and adolescent health and economic strengthening.  This year’s conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 23-24, 2020. Abstract Submissions

This year’s conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 23-24, 2020. We are inviting abstracts for poster presentations focused on child and adolescent health and economic strengthening in resource constrained contexts. Abstracts should be no more than 350 words. References are not required, but if included count towards the 350-word limit. Image(s) and table(s) are not permitted in the abstract.

Abstracts should be submitted in the following format:

• Background and Purpose: description of the problem, study objectives, research question(s) and/or hypothesis(es).
• Methods: study design, including a description of participants and sampling methods, data collection procedures, measures, and appropriate analytic/ statistical approach.
• Results: specific results in summary form.
• Conclusions and Implications for Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health: description of the main outcome(s) of the study and implications for practice, policy, or further research.

The deadline for submissions is 5PM (CT) April 1, 2020. All Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference planning committee. Acceptance emails will be sent by May 10, 2020
