5th Annual Conference

Purpose
The goal of this annual conference is to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders interested in addressing issues affecting global child and adolescent health, including HIV/AIDS, poverty, health disparities, and behavioral health. The conference will provide opportunities for bi-directional learning via plenary sessions, small panels, workshops, poster sessions, networking sessions and community site visits.
Mission
ICHAD and SMART Africa founded this conference series to achieve the following aims.
- Bring together researchers and other stakeholders to discuss ongoing projects related to evidence-based psychosocial support interventions, sustaining high-quality mental health care, and economic strengthening interventions in low resource settings.
- Foster exchange between researchers interested in child behavioral health and economic strengthening ventures at different career stages.
- Accelerate scientific progress in this area through written scholarly products.
