Suvaporn Anugulruengkitt is an Instructor at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, a tertiary-care medical school in Bangkok, Thailand, and Researcher at the Center of Excellence for Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Vaccines. She has worked as a pediatric infectious specialist since 2014. She received her PhD in clinical sciences from Chulalongkorn University. She has a broad background in pediatrics, with specific training and expertise in infectious diseases. In early-career path, as PI or co-investigator, she worked on the research of HIV mother-to-child transmission and HIV in children.

Dr. Anugulruengkitt’s current focus is implementing antimicrobial stewardship in pediatrics to improve antimicrobial uses in clinical practices. She has implemented the antimicrobial stewardship program at the institution since 2017 using prospective audit and feedback interventions. In 2020, she participated in the Health Policy and Systems Research on Antimicrobial Resistance Program, International Health Policy Program, Ministry of Public Health, which is a network of Thai researchers working on one health approach to combat antimicrobial resistance. Her professional goal focus on how to successfully implement antimicrobial stewardship in Thailand.
