Dr. Richard Muhindo is a senior lecturer in the Department of Nursing Makerere University College of Health Sciences Kampla Uganda. He holds degrees, BSN, PhD with bias in Public Health from Makerere University, and MPH from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
As a health behavioral scholar, his research focuses on understanding barriers and strategies for scaling-up sexually transmitted infections (STI) and HIV prevention interventions among key populations (sex workers), contraceptive and family planning services for adolescents and under-served residents of mountainous areas, and vaccine uptake in the adult population.
