Minh Nguyen, MD, PhD

Dr. Minh Nguyen is a lecturer at the Department of Epidemiology, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. She is also a fellow in the Fogarty postdoctoral fellowship program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on the intersection between mental health and substance abuse in determining health outcomes of people living with HIV, as well as PrEP use and electronic health interventions to improve PrEP uptake among young men who have sex with men. She received her PhD degree in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health and MS degree in Epidemiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
