Jepchirchir Kiplagat is a public health expert with training in health systems research and epidemiology. Her research focuses on applying implementation science strategies to improve care delivery for aging people with HIV. In her mentored K43 award, she is employing mixed methods research and human-centered design approaches, in developing patient-centered interventions that engages community health volunteer in medication adherence support for older adults living with HIV. Dr. Kiplagat is also a Lecturer at Moi University School of Public Health and immediate former Director of Research at the Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH).
