Dr Serge Ngekeng has a PhD in public health and currently serves as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Hygiene of the University of Buea. He is also a Postdoctoral fellow with the STREaM Cameroon Project, supported by the NIH (award number D43TW012186). His work currently focuses on reduction of road traffic injury burden due to alcohol. His research is investigating evidenced based intervention to deter DUI and also treat alcohol use diisorders in drivers. He has previously worked in the areas of continuous quality improvement and mentorship of laboratory programs under PEPFAR funded HIV program in Cameroon and continues to work towards trauma quality improvement in Cameroon.
