WU Grad Nature Trippers

A graduate student club dedicated to exploring the outdoors

The Wash U Graduate Nature Trippers is a club dedicated to providing all levels of outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to meet and pool their combined knowledge, experience, and camaraderie for everyone to enjoy. The Nature Trippers will educate members about a variety of outdoor adventures, including safe and proper techniques and methods, such as climbing, hiking, backpacking, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, paddling, etc. and encourages members to lead trips and introduce new activities to the club. The club will provide environmental service opportunities and promote outdoor and environmental education through workshops, organized outings, and presentations. We act as advocates for environmentally conscious principles, and will expand the accessibility of the outdoors through scholarship, training, and affordable access to gear. This club offers outdoor trips, clinics, guest lectures and volunteer opportunities for any graduate student at Wash U.
