Charles Lu

Charles is from Shanghai China, and completed his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis. Charles joined OGR as a way to have dedicated time to explore his interests in computational genomics. His next steps are to matriculate to medical school.

Research Area

Charles is working in the Mollah lab, where they are developing tensor-based machine-learning methods to analyze signalling pathways and regulatory networks.  This is important because tensor-based methods are more interpretable compared to black-box deep learning models.
