Graduate students

Graduate student positions are available immediately in our laboratory. Projects will focus on how the brain parses visual scenes into meaningful collections of objects and background. We use a variety of techniques including high-density electrophysiology, optogenetics, viral targeting and behavioral approaches in non-human primates. Students can join the lab either through the Neuroscience graduate program, the graduate program in Biomedical Engineering or the graduate program in Electrical and Systems Engineering. Please contact us if you have questions.

Postdoctoral researcher

A postdoctoral position is available in our lab to investigate the micro-organization and function of the cortical circuits that parse visual scenes into meaningful collections of objects and background. We use a variety of techniques including high-density electrophysiology, behavioral approaches, viral targeting and optogenetics in non-human primates.
