Program cost:


  • This includes tuition (6 credits) and administrative fees, room and board in host families / or in Résidence Etudiants Saint François (studio near the Pasteur Hospital) for 5 weeks, insurance, and bus/tramway pass for the length of the stay. Students make their own travel arrangements. Funding available.
  • $1000 non-refundable within two weeks after acceptance for admission.  This payment should be made payable to Washington University and sent to Washington University, Department of International Studies, Attn: Alexandra Espeseth, (Campus Box 1088), 1 Brookings Drive, St. Louis, MO 63130.  Reference the student’s name, student I.D. number or SSN, and France for the Pre-Med on the check.
  • The remaining balance will be charged to your WU student account. All students will be enrolled at WU for the length of the France for the Pre-Med Program.  For the purposes of billing and registration, a WU student account will be created for each student who does not normally attend WU. Washington University has gone green with 100% paperless billing. Your billing statement will be available in WebSTAC under Billing Records/Pay-View My Bill at the end of April.  This convenient, secure eBilling service will send you an automatic email notification whenever a new monthly statement is ready to view on-line.
