Professor Mell was our primary advisor for this project. He has many years of experience with industrial robots and has frequently worked with the FANUC robot in the Controls Lab.
Professor Richter was a technical resource for us, with extensive knowledge of LabView – the platform we used to establish communication between the space mouse and the FANUC robot.
Jacob Gardner was a point of contact at FANUC. He provided initial guidance regarding our project focus and scope, as well as information specific to the robot model that we used for this project.
Professor Trobaugh was our Capstone advisor. He held us to deadlines for important project milestones and offered draft edits, timeline suggestions, and advice on capitalizing on our resources.
